Two of the new teams played their first ever game on Tuesday, with the Battlion coming out on top 6-0. It was a wire to wire win for the Battalion, their third in a row. Matt Wing made his first start as a member of the Battalion, pitching a complete game, 2-hit shutout, while striking out 8.

The offense scored a season high 6 runs, behind 2 hits, including an RBI double, from Steve Renaud. The attack was balanced with 7 different players having a hit, and 5 different players having an RBI.
