May 30th vs Cardinals

The Battalion cruised to their 4th straight win, an 11-4 decision over the last place Cardinals. Even through some sloppy defensive play early, the Battalion lead from start to finish, scoring in all but one inning. Evan Hammond started his first career NCBL game on the mound, going a strong 4 innings, allowing only 1 hit and not allowing an earned run. Hammond also was able to do it at the plate, scoring three runs and adding a stolen base.

The first three Battalion batters all walked and scored in the first. Eitan Maoz had 3 RBIs in the win. Ryan Dillon also extended his team lead in RBIs, adding 2 more in the contest. The Battalion were able to capitalize on poor defense and pitching by the Cards, walking 8 times.

Eitan Maoz was able to come in for the 2 inning save, striking out 3, while allowing one run.
