It was a game to forget for the Battalion as they lost 13-3 in 5 innings to the Kanata Athletics. They are now 0-2 vs the A’s while being outscore 26-10.

It was a myriad of pitchers for the Battalion as both Brendan Saville and Matt Wing made their season debuts. Saville got the start but only last 0.2 innings, allowing a grand slam to Felix Septimo. Wing then came in and went 2.1IP, allowing 4 runs as well. Ben Milinkovich came in for an inning of mop up, and Musashi Takara pitched the final 2/3 of an inning.

Charlie Crabb pitched a complete game 5 hitter for the A’s.

The Battalion could not muster much offensively. Evan Hammond had a 2RBI double in the 3rd. Matt MacIntyre continued his hot streak going 2-for-3.

The Battalion have a quick turnaround as they take on the Brewers tomorrow night.
