The Battalion and Cubs met for the second time this year, this time with the Battalion avenging their earlier loss with an 8-0 win. Brendan Saville once again dominated, notching his second straight complete game win. In the shutout, Saville only allowed 3 base-runners all game, while striking out 8.

On the offensive side, another balanced attack saw 9 different players with at least one base hit. Evan Hammond and Ben Milinkovich each scored twice and added a hit. Eugenio Matos broke out in a big way, adding an insurance 2 RBI single in the 6th and stealing a base. Drew McCormick added 2 hits and an RBI in the win as well.
